Bars

When they ask AI which bar is nearby

People ask for a bar the way they ask a friend: somewhere to watch the game, somewhere quiet enough to talk, somewhere with food after 10, somewhere that is not a club. If your listing is only a name and a pin, the assistant picks the place it can describe.

The night has a shape

The questions are late hours, kitchen close, outdoor seats, live music nights, a pool table, a patio, cocktails versus a beer list, and whether a group of eight will fit. Visitors ask what is walking distance from a hotel. Neighbors ask who is open on a Monday. Someone planning a birthday asks about a semi-private corner and a noise level. None of that is implied by the word bar.

Say what kind of room it is

Write the hours you are actually open, including last call if that is earlier than the door. Say whether you serve food, and until when. Note the age rule, the cover on music nights, and reservations if you take them. If you are a wine bar, a sports room, or a cocktail bar, use those words. Photos should show the room at the hour you want to be chosen for, not an empty Tuesday if your business is Friday.

Do not let old nights linger

A weekly trivia night that ended in March should come off the profile. A phone number that reaches last year’s manager should be replaced. The address, the hours, and the kitchen facts need to match on Google and on every directory that still mentions you. Reviews that describe the room, the night, and the neighborhood are the proof an assistant can repeat without inventing a scene.

Be easy to recommend

Sigma Assistance puts the same local facts where assistants look, and keeps them current when the night changes. Citations start at $99 a month. Being the answer is $249 a month. If you also want leads or ads, those are separate offers at $5,000 a month each.

Describe the night, not the license

Say what kind of night the room is built for, and what it is not. A place to talk is not a place with a DJ. A game on three screens is not a wine bar. Publish last call if it is earlier than the posted close, and publish the hour the kitchen stops even if the taps stay open. Note the cover on music nights and the nights there is no cover. If eight people will not fit, say six is the comfortable group. Age rules, a patio, and whether you take a reservation for a birthday corner belong in public. Visitors ask what is walkable from which hotels. Name the blocks, not a vibe. Take trivia off the profile the week it ends. An assistant will otherwise send a Tuesday group to an empty promise.
