Electricians

When they ask AI for an electrician nearby

People ask who can replace a panel, install a charger, or come out because half the house is dark. They ask about licenses and permits. If your listing could belong to a handyman, the assistant will look for a clearer electrician.

An electrician at a residential breaker panel

The job has a name

The questions are a dead outlet, a panel upgrade, an EV charger, a ceiling fan, a generator, or a remodel that needs a permit. Landlords ask about rental turnovers. New homeowners ask who is licensed in that city. Someone in the dark asks whether you answer at night. If you are commercial only, or residential only, that belongs in the first paragraph.

License, hours, and the work you take

Publish the license, the service cities, and the phone. List the jobs you do and the ones you refer, such as utility-side work. Say how an estimate is booked and whether a small repair can be same-day. Hours should include emergency rules if you have them. The shop address and the service area should agree across Google and the directories.

Do not borrow another trade’s words

A page titled home services is weaker than a page titled panel upgrades or EV charger installation. Use the words people type. Reviews that mention a panel, a permit, or a same-day outage are the ones an assistant can cite. Photos of real work help when they do not hide the kind of building you serve.

Keep the license and the towns current

Sigma keeps the electrical record accurate so you are named for the work you do in the towns you serve. Citations start at $99 a month. Be the answer is $249 a month. Leads and advertising are separate at $5,000 a month each.

Panel, charger, or the lights are out

Separate a dark house from a planned upgrade. If you answer after hours, say so and say the fee is explained before you roll. If you do not, give the hour you open. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, fans, and remodel wiring are the jobs people name. List the ones you take. Residential only or commercial only belongs in the first paragraph. The license and the cities are the proof you are the local electrician rather than a handyman ad. Same-day for a small repair should be true on a normal week before you publish it. Utility-side work you do not touch should be named as a referral. Two conflicting addresses, shop versus a home office, will send a van to the wrong place. Pick the public one and use it everywhere. Put the after-hours rule and the daytime repair rule in separate sentences so a dark house and a planned charger install do not get the same recommendation.
