Hotels
When they ask AI where to stay nearby
A stay is a set of constraints. Parking, breakfast, a pet, a late arrival, a wedding downtown, or a room that is quiet. Independent hotels lose the answer when the public record sounds like a chain slogan and never states the practical facts.
Travelers ask for a fit, not a star
People ask which hotel is walkable to the courthouse, who allows a dog, who has parking that is actually on site, and who can take a late check-in after a flight. Families ask about cribs and connecting rooms. Wedding guests ask who is closest to the venue and whether breakfast is included. Contractors ask about weekly rates and a place to leave a truck. Those questions decide the name.
Put the stay on the record
Publish check-in and check-out times, parking rules, breakfast, pet policy, and the neighborhoods you are actually near. Name the entrance if the pin is ambiguous. Say if you are independent, how many rooms you have, and what a guest can walk to. A page for groups and a page for events should state capacity in numbers, not in adjectives. Photos of the room, the lot, and the lobby answer questions a paragraph might miss, but the paragraph still has to exist.
One address, one phone, one set of hours
Front desk hours, a reservations line, and a local number that is answered. If the booking phone is a call center in another state, say how a guest reaches the desk at night. Directories that still show a closed annex or an old brand name should be corrected. Reviews that mention parking, noise, or the walk downtown give an assistant a reason that is more specific than a rating.
Keep the stay current
Renovation wings, a seasonal pool, a breakfast vendor that changed. Sigma keeps the hotel’s public record consistent so assistants can recommend the stay you actually offer. Citations start at $99 a month. The answer work is $249 a month. Lead generation and advertising are separate and start at $5,000 a month.
The stay, in the details a guest packs for
Write check-in and check-out as clock times. Say whether parking is on site, across the street, or paid, and whether a truck fits. Breakfast included, breakfast for sale, or no breakfast are different hotels. Pet rules need a weight or a yes, and a fee if there is one. Late arrival after a flight only helps if the desk is actually there. Name what a guest can walk to, in blocks, instead of saying downtown. Cribs, connecting rooms, and a weekly rate for a crew are optional, but if you offer them they should be sentences. Group blocks and weddings need a capacity. If the reservations line is not the front desk, say how a guest reaches the building at night. A closed annex that remains on a map will keep sending luggage to the wrong door.
Be the local business when they ask. Citation build-out starts at $99/mo. Be the answer is $249/mo. Lead generation and advertising each start at $5,000/mo.
