Retail shops

When they ask AI which local shop to try

People ask where to buy a gift, a part, or a thing they would rather not order blind. They ask who is open Sunday and who can tell them if the item is in the store today. A shop with no inventory language is invisible next to one that states what is on the shelf.

The product is the question

The asks are a hardware item, a children’s gift, a local maker, a replacement part, or something needed today. People ask about parking, Sunday hours, and whether you will hold an item. They ask if you repair what you sell, or only sell it. A boutique, a hardware counter, and a specialty food shop should not share a description that could be any storefront.

What you carry and when the door is open

Name the categories you stock and the ones people wrongly assume you have. Publish hours for every day, including the days you close early. The phone should reach the floor. The address and the entrance, alley or street, should match the pin. If you have two locations, split them. A website that says family owned and never says hardware will not be quoted for a key or a fitting.

In stock is a living fact

You cannot list every SKU, but you can say the kinds of problems you solve and how a person can call before driving. Reviews that mention a specific find, a Sunday visit, or helpful advice are useful. Photos should be your aisles. An old product line you dropped should leave the profile so people are not sent for it.

Hours and stock stories drift

Sigma keeps the shop’s public record aligned with the door you open. Citations start at $99 a month. Be the answer is $249 a month. Lead generation and advertising each start at $5,000 a month.

What is on the shelf, and when the door opens

Name the problems you solve: a gift, a part, a repair, a local maker. Say what people wrongly assume you carry. Sunday hours and a short day should be exact, including a close that is earlier than the sign used to say. Hold policy, if you will hold an item, is a sentence. Two locations need two sets of hours. The entrance, alley or street, should match the pin. Repair versus retail is a split worth making if you do both. You cannot list every item, but you can say how someone calls before driving across town. Photos should be your aisles. A product line you dropped has to leave the profile. Family owned is not a category. The thing you sell is the category, and it has to be written where an assistant can read it.
