Gemini

The record Gemini and Google read

Gemini and Google’s AI answers do not keep a private file on your business. They read the public record: your profile, your listings, and the pages that describe what you actually do.

A bright local clinic waiting room

One foundation, two places people look

A customer might search Google or ask Gemini. Both are looking at whether your business is real, nearby, open, and specific. A half-finished profile, old hours, or a website that never says what you do leaves the assistant with nothing solid to quote.

The profile is the front door

The Google Business Profile is still the clearest local fact sheet. Categories, services, hours, photos, and a phone number that matches the website. If that profile is thin, Gemini has a thin answer. If it is current, Gemini has something it can say out loud.

Pages written the way people ask

Brochures talk about “quality” and “family owned.” People ask “do you repair water heaters” and “are you open after 6.” A page that answers those questions, in that wording, is easier for Google and Gemini to cite than a page of slogans.

Keep it true next month

A listing that was right in January and wrong in June trains the next answer to skip you. The record has to stay current: holiday hours, a moved suite, a new service, a closed day. That maintenance is the whole job after the first build.
