Doctors and clinics
When they ask AI which doctor is nearby
People ask which doctor is accepting new patients, who can see them this week, and who handles a specific problem without a month of waiting. A clinic page that never answers those questions will not be the one an assistant repeats.
They name the problem and the timing
The question might be a family doctor near a school, a clinic that treats adults only, a same-day sick visit, or a doctor who manages a ongoing condition. People ask about insurance, languages spoken, and whether a referral is required. They ask who is actually in the building, not which health system owns the sign. If you are primary care, say that. If you are a specialty clinic, say the specialty in the first sentence.
New patients are a yes or a no
Publish whether you are accepting new patients, and for which ages. List the clinicians by name and credential. State office hours, after-hours instructions, and how a same-day slot works if you offer one. Insurance participation should be a list a person can read, updated when a plan changes. The address needs a floor and suite. The phone should reach the desk that books, and it should match every listing.
Write the visit, not the mission
Mission statements do not answer do you see children or can I be seen for a physical before school starts. Short pages for new patients, sick visits, and the conditions you routinely treat give an assistant something true to quote. Photos of the office help a person recognize the door. They do not replace hours and services. Reviews that mention a same-week visit or a particular kind of appointment are the proof.
Keep the panel current
Clinicians leave. Hours change. A plan comes off the list. Sigma keeps that public record aligned so assistants can name the clinic you run today. Citations start at $99 a month. The answer work is $249 a month. Lead generation and advertising each start at $5,000 a month and stay separate.
Who can be seen, and how soon
Accepting new patients is a current fact, not a slogan. Say the ages you see and whether a same-day sick visit is a real slot or a hope. Name the clinicians and the specialty in ordinary words: family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or a narrower practice. Languages, a referral rule, and the plans you bill should be lists. After-hours instructions need to be specific enough that a person with a fever knows whether to call you or go to urgent care. The floor and suite in a medical building are part of the address. A blended listing for two clinics will send someone to the office that is closed that day. Pages for physicals and sick visits should say what to bring. When a clinician leaves, take the name off the booking path immediately.
Be the local business when they ask. Citation build-out starts at $99/mo. Be the answer is $249/mo. Lead generation and advertising each start at $5,000/mo.
